We send winter greetings and encouragement, from the Heart of Texas to our friends and fellow laborers. We are thankful for each of you and for all the Lord is doing and will do through each of you. As most of you know since May, 2022 I have been serving as interim pastor of our home church. I struggled with having to reverse plans, change schedules and such, but God has blessed the effort of assisting this local church. He has reminded me again during these days of the call to evangelism 18 years ago. One sent as a gift to the local churches, to encourage and edify the body of Christ, Ephesians 4:11-13.
The Lord has moved, and the church has called Bro Patrick Bujak as Pastor of Metropolitan Baptist Church. He will be here in January. So, I will be loosed for other ministry opportunities again. We appreciate all who have prayed, called, and encouraged during this time. We ask for your prayers during the transition and transfer of leadership responsibilities at the church. All of that will take some time but we are thankful to have a pastor at this time and trust the Lord to take care of the details.
In the midst of the tumult & turmoil, the straining & striving of these days, we each need His presence and power more than ever before. We need the care and prayers of each other, so we ask “Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course as it is with you.” 2 Thessalonians 3:1.
