What is the Answer for this Chaotic Time? – November 2020 Update

Blessings and greetings to each of you from North Texas. ‘2020’, what a year, that we are involved in, and it is not over yet. The pandemic, the presidential election, the Supreme Court Justice confirmation, the exposure of some of the dark side of national politics, religious oppression, and the revelation of roots of social upheaval and rebellion unrecognized before. The overshadowing of world economic depression, national inflation, and fermenting civil unrest. Churches seem to waver as the unstable winds of social, political, and economic direction change erratically and momentarily.  

Where are we headed and what is the answer for this chaotic time? Pondering all this, I have been reminded of Scripture; “…Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.” Heb. 12:1-3. The songwriter wrote:

“Trials dark on every hand, and we cannot understand all the ways that God would lead us to that Blessed Promised Land; But He’ll guide us with His eye, and we’ll follow till we die; We’ll understand it better by and by….We’re trusting in the Lord, and according to His Word, We’ll understand it better by and by….We will tell the story how we’ve overcome, We’ll understand it better by and by.”

In the midst of all the above, the Lord has blessed us all, Amen?
