Blessings and greetings to each of you from North Texas. We are living in changing times aren’t we? Covid Virus, streamed church services, left leaning governmental leadership, forced church closures, etc. More concerning to us should be attitudes of the communities we minister to; lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, blind followers of those that are blind, a weak or broken economy, riots and rumors of war. All these and other changes remind us that we live in perilous times. We don’t know what the future holds, that makes us very uncomfortable. Have you noticed yet that the 6:00 News has no answer, most of us have no clue.
Jesus has not changed, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever”-He 13:8. We can confront the challenges of change with faith in that which never changes by “Looking unto Jesus”-He 12:2. That’s the only way to keep from being deceived, distracted, depressed, discouraged, and distraught, which is dangerous. “On Christ the Solid Rock I stand, All other ground is sinking sand.” In the midst of all the above, the Lord has blessed us all, Amen?

Fifteen years ago, when I came to Metropolitan Baptist Church as Staff Evangelist, part of my responsibility was to restart and establish a Bible College which had been dormant since the 1950’s. Through the cooperation of the church and great individuals, both preachers and laity we were able to see this come to pass. The school is now fully chartered, is primarily internet classes although some still attend local classes. I am including a brochure for the Texas Theological University & Seminary with this letter. I am not a salesman, just ask you to look and consider an honest offer of help to you or your young people. It is an Independent, Fundamental, Local Church, Baptist, College, which offers opportunities for reasonably priced education at your location and on your schedule.
